Eaton is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Client-Facing Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing projects and ensuring the seamless delivery of electrical distribution solutions to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, design principles, and applicable codes for the water segment and large industrial projects.
What you’ll do:
Key Responsibilities:
Manage client relationships, maintaining open communication and establishing trust
Liaise closely with End Users, PMC, and consultants for early engagement to prescribe Eaton’s range of solutions for the industrial segment, including large industrial projects, water, and wastewater projects
Conduct technical presentations and training sessions to create awareness of Eaton solutions
Develop and execute project plans, ensuring timely implementation of project lifecycle milestones
Coordinate with internal engineering, operations, and quality teams to ensure customer expectations are met
Collaborate with clients to develop customized solutions that meet their specific needs
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies
Provide technical support and guidance to clients throughout the project lifecycle
Prepare project documentation, including project reports, drawings, and specifications
Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to electrical distribution
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
5+ years of experience in project engineering within the electrical distribution industrySkills:
Proven ability to manage projects from inception to completion
Strong technical knowledge of electrical distribution systems, including substations, transformers, and switchgear
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as IEC, IEEE, and UL
Valid driver’s license required
