Overview The Account Manager ensures delivery of exceptional service to Gallagher’s clients proactively managing assigned accounts. How you'll make an impact • Serve as primary contact and relationship manager for assigned Small Group clients, and ensure successful delivery of Gallagher services to those clients throughout the year • Lead all renewal related efforts with assigned clients consistent with Gallagher’s Client Service Cycle and business process flow consistent with Gallagher’s Business Operating Standards • Communicate and recommend resources available within Gallagher to clients where services are of potential value to clients (Retirement, GGB, HR Consulting, Voluntary Benefits, etc.) • Participate in regular team meetings with Small Group team members and act as support for team members when requested by leadership • Work closely with Gallagher Service Center (GSC) team members to execute on renewals and standardized tasks. • Develop, cultivate and maintain positive relationships within the branch, with clients and vendor partners • Resolves any service requests or issues as they arise in a timely and professional manner • Escalate all client relationship or service challenges with leadership to ensure retention objectives are met and maintained. • Utilize all relevant systems and in accordance with workflow guidelines, and maintain accurate and current records in these systems related to client relationships and client service activities • Travel to onsite client meetings as requested/required by the client (approx. 20%-25% travel, primarily local, highest in volume during 4th quarter) • Provide guidance and support to new hires, Account Coordinators, and other team members as requested by leadership or as opportunities present themselves to support or assist • Provide ad hoc communication and administrative support to your team and Hub as needed or requested • Complete training and professional development to gain understanding of the insurance industry landscape, regulations at the state and federal level, Gallagher offerings to clients, and Gallagher’s processes. • Exemplify the highest ethical standards, promote ethical behavior and uphold the Gallagher Way • Travel to onsite client meetings as requested/required by the client (approx. 20%-25% travel) About You Required: Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years client coordination and/or claims management experience, OR High School degree with 8 or more years client coordination and/or claims management experience. License required. Able and willing to travel approximately 25% of the time. Behaviors: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
