The Client Operations Associate will handle the decedent process for clients within Wealth Management.  This process will entail an end to end review of impacted accounts, processing necessary maintenance requests, preparing required documentation, communicating with internal partners, and reviewing documentation received in order to complete the process accordingly.  The job requires a high degree of discipline, a strong attention to detail and a strong control mindset.    

Job Responsibilities:

Support the alerts received into the Client Decedent Notification tool to ensure timely processing. Perform authentication to ensure instructions are provided by authorized account holder/contact. Take ownership to diligently maintain outlined policies and procedures. Serve as the first line of defense for escalations where needed, which involves working with business partners to resolve questions, investigate issues and develop a satisfactory response to the client’s concerns. Challenge each procedure to minimize risk, client impact and efficiency. Identify gaps between applicable requirements and current procedures/controls and participate in driving resolution. Investigate opportunities to reduce costs, provide automation, and analyze fluctuations in key metrics.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

B.S. degree or equivalent work experience. 3 to 5 years of experience within a financial service, operational or compliance fields. Multi lingual reading and writing skills is a plus. Documentation analysis experience preferred.
