We are looking for a collaborative and solution-oriented team member to join the Alternative Markets group within HSB Custom Risk Solutions.  We focus on unique client partnerships and solutions to complex risks that are not easily insurable in the standard market.  These solutions often entail complex risk transfer or placement within a diverse distribution ecosystem that includes high-risk carriers, E&S carriers, captives, pools, and Lloyd’s.  The Client Operations Manager is a critical member of the client integration team, responsible for implementing new business and ensuring optimal service delivery throughout every stage of our partnerships.

 

Executes business development opportunities for the company and its partners and/or external clients. Manages cross-functional connectivity, both internally and externally, ensuring successful execution of client initiatives. Manages the end-to-end operational value chain for a diverse set of clients and prospects. Interacts with senior executives to manage progress of business development activities. Acts as the dot-connector in client challenges and opportunities through the development of trusted internal partnerships both horizontally and vertically, in order to execute and understand the varying client disciplines that seek guidance and expertise. Maintains and monitors operational health by proactively analyzing client partnerships across all disciplines for issue identification, problem resolution and building synergies.

 

Qualifications

 

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required 5+ years of experience in the P&C industry is required 3+ years’ experience in Project Management is required 1+ years of client facing experience preferredWorkflow documentation experience is required Operational Systems and IT Experience is preferred

 

Knowledge and Skills:
