The Duke Energy Client Partner ("CP") establishes long-standing and productive relationships with Duke and other targeted clients, that span cross-functionally and include extensive product and service offering knowledge. The CP has a comprehensive approach that deepens GE’s relationship with its accounts, advances key issues, builds advocates within organizations, and ensures GE Vernova and customer teams are set up for success in fortifying and growing the account. The CP must establish key relationships founded in trust, respect, and the ability to deliver value on mutual priorities in order to grow the account.
**Job Description**
**In this role you will:**
+ Work closely with the GE Vernova Electrification Software Grid Software business with Duke Energy (and possibly other key accounts) to provide reporting, project oversight, dashboard updates, and provide resolution to escalated customer complaints.
+ Interfaces with Duke Energy executives and leadership to identify opportunities to improve business relationships.
+ Understand the Duke Energy opportunities – and build key relationships.
+ Develop new programs to support the Duke's strategic initiatives.
+ Establish a foundational level of service that scales cross-functionally and represents the broader GE Vernova Electrification Software organization.
+ Develop account plans with a consistent cadence of check-ins, mutually agreed upon KPI’s, strategic initiatives and tactical efforts.
+ Initiate and close all existing and new business opportunities.
+ Develop custom tracks, education resources and enablement vehicles aligned to the unique needs of Duke Energy.
+ Maximize account activations to align the right business outcomes, new business opportunity and key strategic partnerships.
+ Maximize key resources to advance internal GE Vernova priorities tied to the overarching Duke Energy strategy and objectives.
+ Develop and grow appropriate sales partnership and distribution channels to ensure scale and efficiency.
+ Enable mutual education and enablement.
+ Developing commercial expertise across one or more product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups.
+ Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services. Utilizing an understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.
+ Lead others to find creative solutions to address complex projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers.
+ Communicate complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view.
+ Influence peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.
+ In addition to establishing GE Vernova Electrification Software key executive relationships, establish and support key relationships between Duke Energy and GE Vernova executives when appropriate. Additionally, foster executive relationships to ensure corporate alignment, executive sponsorship, and strategic business development.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
+ Demonstrated experience working with utilities.
+ Experience in Software Sales, Projects, or Business Development.

**Additional Information**
The salary range for this position is $168,000USD - $252,000USD. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for commission.
