Client Partner - Enterprise, Uber Direct, UK

The Uber Eats team is looking for an ambitious, results-driven Client Partner to join our Commercial team, where you’ll manage relationships with our largest national restaurant partners. As a Client Partner for Uber Direct, you will leverage your strategic sales expertise to negotiate impactful commercial agreements, driving global revenue growth for our most high-priority brands on the Uber Direct platform. ### **Who Are We Looking For?** - **Experience in Negotiation**: Proven success in negotiating commercial agreements and developing strong partnerships with complex brands. - **Executive Relationship Management**: Ability to build deep, lasting relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers. - **Passionate About Logistics and Uber**: A genuine interest in logistics, technology, and Uber’s mission, thriving in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. - **Adaptable and Tech-Savvy**: Since Uber Direct is an API-based product, the ideal candidate is excited about growing their technical skillset. - **Collaborative**: Comfortable working with internal teams across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Legal, and Finance to align on shared goals and strategies. ### **What You’ll Do** - **Build and Cultivate Relationships**: Develop strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers at partner organizations. - **Drive Product Adoption**: Expand product usage by effectively communicating the value of Uber Direct’s offerings. - **Solve Problems Creatively**: Use critical thinking and creativity to navigate negotiations and resolve complex Merchant challenges. - **Manage Details and Strategy**: Balance high-level strategy with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring deadlines are met while contributing innovative ideas to existing partnerships. - **Collaborate Across Teams**: Act as the voice of the customer, working seamlessly with cross-functional teams like Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Legal, and Finance. - **Analyze and Optimize**: Use data to develop business models, track trends, and provide insights to ensure the success and growth of partnerships. ### **Basic Qualifications** - Minimum of 4 years of full-time experience, ideally in a client-facing role. - Data-driven mindset: Proficient in Excel modeling, with SQL knowledge being a plus. - Proven track record in negotiating commercial agreements and cultivating executive-level partnerships. - Passion for logistics and Uber's mission with a focus on driving innovation and success. - Ability to work cross-functionally with teams like Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Legal, and Finance. - Willingness to learn and grow technical skills as Uber Direct is an API-based product. ### **Preferred Qualifications** - **Speed and resourcefulness**: Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and handling ambiguity. - **Collaborative leadership**: Able to lead discussions across teams—whether with engineers, product managers, or C-level executives. - **Coachability and curiosity**: Open to feedback and eager to continuously improve both personally and as part of a team. - A willingness to **dive into the weeds** and drive success with our highest-value partners.
