About the Team
The Client Platform Engineering team is responsible for endpoint configuration, management and automation of macOS, Windows, ChromeOS and VDI to help DoorDash employees do their best work. Additional responsibilities include the zero-touch onboarding flow for new hires, OS/third-party software patching and tier three escalations from service desk.
About the Role
We are looking for a Client Platform Engineer in the U.S. Eastern time zone who values responsibility and accountability for the management of macOS, iOS, Windows and ChromeOS endpoints globally. Our growing environment is predominantly macOS but includes a mix of other operating systems. You will report to the Manager, Client Platform Engineering on our Corporate Infrastructure team in our Global IT organization.

We’re excited about you because…
+ You have 3+ years experience administering an Enterprise MDM/EMM/UEM platform (Mosyle, Intune, Workspace ONE, SimpleMDM, etc.)
+ You have 3+ years experience managing the following tools for macOS support: Munki, AutoPkg, Apple Business Manager, etc.
+ You have 3+ years experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Bash, Python, Swift, GoLang
+ You have experience using CI/CD for client engineering processes
+ You have experience utilizing APIs for automation
+ Nice to haves:
+ You have experience managing VDI, Linux and Android endpoints
+ You have experience with Terraform, osquery, Santa and Chef/Puppet
+ You have experience with open source MDM platforms such as MicroMDM or NanoMDM
+ You enjoy working with open source tools and contributing back to the community
+ You have experience working on a remote team spanning multiple time zones and continents

Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within the United States.
$112,200 — $165,000 USD
