Your Role:

The Client Project Manager is a customer facing position offering a world class experience for our customers. A Project Manager’s primary responsibility is to manage customer specific programs that deliver a complex integrated solution to drive sales revenue and growth in addition to customer satisfaction across sites in the global contract manufacturing organization. The Client Project Manager works closely in partnership with Operations and Quality to ensure on time delivery to customers. The intent of this organizational framework is to ensure the strategic goals of the client and MilliporeSigma are aligned to achieve business objectives.

 

The Client Project Manager is primarily responsible for managing active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) that are utilized in antibody drug conjugate linkers and small molecule drug substances. These APIs utilize multiple assets within and outside of the MilliporeSigma organization. The Client Project Manager is the single point of contact between MilliporeSigma’s local teams and the customer. This position requires leadership, issue resolution, escalation, technical, coaching, and team-building skills along with demonstrated project management skills and an established track record of managing multiple strategic projects and solutions for MilliporeSigma.

 

Key responsibilities include:

• Accountable for driving discussions and decisions while allowing for a client escalation pathway to senior leadership.

• Accountable to manage all customer contract manufacturing projects across program asset chain.

• Supports delivery of critical communication to customers.

• Delivers controlled communication on major program related issues and/or strategic impact.

• Coordinates on-site meetings/visits.

• Drives and manages governance strategy for customer account.

• Drives delivery performance from operations including prioritization, escalation, and identification of bottlenecks, as well as providing solutions to deliver on financial commitments.

• Serves as a strategic account core team leader; responsible for coordination, Key Performance Metric tracking, and resulting actions.

• Manages revenue and evaluate gross margins on assigned projects.

• Identifies, develops, and executes process improvement solutions in close cooperation with customers, sales teams, and the overall MiliporeSigma organization.

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

A minimum BA/BS in Chemistry, Biological sciences, Business or relative years of experienceExtensive operational, sales, marketing, or project management experience in custom pharmaceutical manufacturing.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Global knowledge of MilliporeSigma’s capabilities and understanding of various divisions and departments. cGMP and/or other relevant quality systems with strong evidence of collaborating in a matrix environment. Sales and quality driven, strong motivator of people to drive toward desired results within a set timeframe. High level of creativity and innovation.Hands-on knowledge of Organic or Biochemical synthesis/purification and associated analytical techniques, including areas of API chemical process development and scale-up. Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal skills, including the ability to give presentations and speak to large groups. Must be able to establish rapport with non-technical parts of the company. General financial knowledge and Business Acumen. Excellent organizational, decision making and negotiation skills.Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and ability to work under pressure. Thorough understanding of software tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, and project management tools.
