Client Relationship Consultant

Summary

As a Client Relationship Consultant on the Retirement Plan Services team, you will assist retirement plan sponsor clients, as well as, internal HUB retirement plan consultants  in overseeing day to day activity, plan design features/recommendations and plan compliance.  You will work with qualified (401k, 403b) as well as Non Qualified (457, DB, etc.) plans.

Consultant Support duties:

Assist HUB retirement plan consultants in managing day to day client needs.Responsible for reviewing  committee meeting prep materials to include agendas and other documents needed for consultant meetings, updating the workflow spreadsheets, scheduling client meetings as needed.Oversee the maintenance of a full client profile to include all client names and pertinent company data, record-keeper, plan number, etc., responsible for ongoing updates and updating to include all new clients.Complete or oversee all client investment changes as needed for each client, to include working with the service provider to obtain paperwork, have signed by client, and making sure participant notices are distributed by the client.  Oversee the maintenance of records investment change information in data base.Help consultants with amendments as requested after plan design has been discussed and determined.  Including working directly with the client and service provider to get the necessary documents signed to implement the changes timely. Oversee a process of keeping consultants updated on the status and completion of project.Track and assist consultants with the annual notices for each of their clients.  Work with each client and recordkeeper to ensure the notices are created and distributed timely.Monitor and provide year end compliance testing support as needed by each consultant, to include scheduling website walk through for data submission, etc. with clients.Take the lead on onboarding a new client to HUB with the service provider to get HUB and consultant added to the plan, obtain necessary documents for signature to grant consultant website access, obtain and file all signed documents and agreements.Client record-keeper transition lead: responsible for working with the new provider, outgoing provider, and client to effectively transition the plan to a new record-keeper, all the time, keeping the consultant updated and included in the process.  Providing written or verbal updates as needed, and involving the consultant in any conversations in which they are needed.Participate in client meetings, in person or virtually as requested by the client or the consultant on an as needed basis.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree3 to 5 years of relevant financial services industry experienceComprehensive retirement industry and investment knowledgeExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenDetail orientated and superior organizational skillsDeadline drivenTeam player with the ability to collaborate with othersHighly computer literate and proficient in a variety of programs including Microsoft Office Suite
