Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Regular attendance and punctuality

Time Flexibility

Collect samples from on-site drop box

Unpack and packs shipments and document receipt of sample

Organize and record samples

Data entry into LIMS

Maintenance of the department and lab, including stocking supplies and housekeeping

Quick hone and email correspondence with clients

Review analytical reports quickly and accurately

Scan and send out reports in a timely manner

Assist with customer services

Handle interactions with walk-in clients

Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner

Perform other duties as assigned

Account Maintenance

Follow up calls and visits with clientsSubmits client complaints and participates in corrective action/follow-up as neededCommunicates client issues / complaints to salesFollows up on client requestsSupports the follow up of quotes / bids for tracking purposesForwards opportunities and leads to salesForecasts upcoming workAsks for the next opportunity

Qualifications

Education/Experience (BMQ):

Minimum 2-3 years client relationship or customer service experienceHigh school diploma or equivalent, further education in biological or chemical science preferredExperience in a fast pace work environmentLab experience and exposure to environmental industry preferred.

Ability and/or Skills (BMQ):

Strong communication and written skills Strong computer knowledge, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, adaptable, and a positive and high energy attitudeHandle moderate stress in a fast-paced environmentDetail oriented

Additional Information

This role will be a full time role, first shift (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM) Monday - Friday, with mandatory OT as needed.
