If you’re interested in starting a career in financial services, Coldstream has a fantastic opportunity to join one of our wealth management teams! As a Client Service Associate with a centralized team, you will learn the Registered Investment Advisor industry from the ground up, be included in a number of firmwide initiatives, and have multiple career paths to choose from.
Our team is based out of our Bellevue office, but we often spend time in our other Seattle-area offices (Kirkland, Mercer Island, and Seattle). We have a hybrid work environment (in office two days a week) and work 7:00am - 4:00pm minus lunch daily.
Specific responsibilities include:
+ Work tasks assigned to the Centralized Client Service task queue supporting all 10 of our wealth management teams:
+ Opening brokerage accounts, establishing cashiering needs, setting up online reporting access
+ Updating cost basis, tracking required minimum distributions, reconciling account information
+ Sending and receiving documents to clients, their advisors, and investment custodians
+ Entering and maintaining client data and activity notes in our CRM system.
+ Collaborating with other new CSAs and the CCS team to support training needs and projects across wealth management teams.
+ Ad hoc project support for the CCS team including firm initiatives and onboarding new merger partners.
Required Experience:
We are looking for a candidate who has:
+ Customer service experience and the desire to provide superior client service in a team-oriented environment
+ A Bachelor’s degree (finance or related focus is preferred)
+ Interest in building a career in the wealth management industry
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce CRM and/or Tamarac portfolio accounting (or similar systems) is a plus
+ Excellent communication skills, including writing business correspondence with proper grammar and punctuation
+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow established processes consistently
+ Strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
