Client Service Leader- Transportation Services
*** This position can be based in our Greenville, Columbia or Charleston office ***

CDM Smith currently has a new opportunity for a Client Service Leader within our South Transportation Group to help sustain, diversity and grow our transportation practice in South Carolina. In this position, you will work with a dynamic team to continue building our transportation business. You will lead the development of a business strategy to increase sales with our existing clients and developing new clients in South Carolina. This will include all aspects of transportation planning, design and construction inspection services. This position leads the business development activities for select clients in the SC region, oversees overall client service, representing CDM Smith in professional organizations, and support sales efforts across the greater SC area.

As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:

• Developing new business and maintaining high-value relationships with SCDOT, cities, counties, metropolitan planning organizations, municipalities, transit and urban services statewide
• Developing and managing client teams that include project managers, technical specialists, national leaders, as well as junior staff to develop strategic capture plans, proposal efforts, presentations, and other efforts of business development.
• Serving as a key member of our strategy team promoting growth in SC as well as supporting other regional growth initiatives.
• Serving as a technical or project lead as needed on projects of significant size and strategic importance.
• Being active in professional societies in which clients or potential clients are members.
• Being a strong leader internally and externally.
• Supporting brand promotion through personal and staff participation in the market through professional societies, social media, and industry events.
