Position Overview:

An experienced Relationship Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry. Skilled with mergers and acquisitions (M&A), risk management, client management and financial services. 

You will be a key member of the US team focused on ensuring seamless, accurate and efficient on-boarding and delivery of all new escrow transactions. Your focus and expertise will be instrumental in driving successful delivery in alignment with Kroll's vision and growth objectives.

You must be able to maximise opportunities, applying best practice and drive best in class service.


Responsibilities:

The candidate will report into the Escrow Product Specialist. You will ensure accurate and on-time delivery of all key task items including (but not limited to):

Monitor relevant administrative and operational activities for all escrow accounts, ensuring correct setup of the accounts in conjunction with our banking partners, monitoring and adhering with all established policies, procedures and guidelines at Kroll. Liaising with clients and related parties to collate all necessary KYC and work closely with Agency and Trustee global KYC team members to ensure proper on-boarding of all related parties.  Review, analyze and provide comments to clients and their advisers related to negotiation and drafting of escrow agreements. Coordinate activities related to monitoring risks and ensuring regulatory compliance for assigned escrow mandates.  Responsible for the client service aspects of escrow mandates from on-boarding and throughout the life-cycle of the engagement. Maintaining customer satisfaction and working with clients advisors, as appropriate. Work with external parties, including legal advisors, financial advisors, interested parties and banking partners, to structure and close transactions in a timely manner. Complete various administration activities including, timely cash flow execution and fee billing, internal and external reporting and processing on Kroll’s reporting platform KBC.  Execute in conjunction with Escrow Business Development and wider Agency and Trustee Business Development teams on current and prospective client engagements.  Provide input on fee proposals to existing clients on new business opportunities, as appropriate.  Collaborate with Accounts Receivable and Billing teams to monitor and timely collect aged receivables. Manage relationships, develop current and prospective clients and referral sources to identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities across all of Kroll’s product offerings.  Gain exposure and collaborate closely with colleagues to enhance knowledge base of additional agency and trustee services product offerings, including but not limited to administrative agent, paying agent, collateral agent and pursue such opportunities with current and prospective clients.  Provide coverage and support for other Relationship Mangers within assigned Section/Unit as required by absence. Represent Agency and Trustee Services US team on divisional projects and Kroll initiatives on a periodic basis. Assist management with the development and operation of business products and processes. Supervise and/or mentor junior members of the team. Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Kroll’s policies and procedures. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management. Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate organisational transformation. Guide teams through change processes, fostering a positive and adaptive culture across the organisation. Manage risks, timelines and deliverables across the business.  Liaise with colleagues across the US and Europe to further develop Kroll’s escrow product offering and products across the agency and trustee services.  Complete other related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

Proven experience working in a similar client services or relationship management role at a bank agent or similar independent agency and trustee provider. Excellent written and verbal communication and reasoning skills. Strong product knowledge of the escrow market. High level of accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to operate under a pressurised and fast paced environment.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and cultures.
