Client Services Supply Center Representative- Part-time

Dominion Diagnostics is the premier provider of comprehensive clinical quantitative urine drug testing, medication monitoring and support services nationwide. Serving hundreds of clients in a variety of medical specialties, we provide actionable information to improve patient care and medical outcomes in the treatment of Chronic Pain and Addiction Medicine. The position is located in North Kingstown, RI.


This position will report to the Client Services Manager.


Schedule / Hours:

Part-Time, 25 hours – Monday through Friday, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintains supply inventory; verifies inventory levels by checking shelves, notifies supervisor as to replacement needs or      places orders as appropriateReceives and stores supplies in warehouse or supply roomReviews incoming order forms for quantities requested; inspects and verifies supplies received against invoice and packing slip; notifies supervisor on requests for vendor correctionsProcesses paperwork related to supply requestsEnsures customer satisfaction and positive rapport with vendorsEnsures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practicesPerforms clerical duties related to maintaining stock inventories and stockroom; must operate a computer terminal and/or      personal computer Communicates with Clients re supply request, orders, and questionsPrints, packages, and ships client suppliesRecords Outgoing Shipments in Dominion ConnectPerforms miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedMay be required to perform courier duties as staffing requires

Education and Experience:

Two years college experience preferred At least 2 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Ability to prepare routine administrative paperworkAbility to receive, stock, and/or deliver goodsKnowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory controlAbility to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety proceduresAbility to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipmentTelephone skillsKnowledge of customer service standards and proceduresSkill in the use of personal computers and related software applications

Distinguishing Characteristics Position Requires: 

Receiving, storing and maintaining stock and supplies according to department needLocating stock and delivering requested items to accountsReviewing order forms for accuracy, and verifying supplies received against invoice and packing slipsContacting approved vendors to reorder routine supplies, and processes paperwork related to reorder requestsPrinting, packaging, and shipping client suppliesPerforming routine clerical duties in support of unit

Conditions of Employment: 

Possession of a valid Rhode Island driver's license is a requirement for this job. 

Working Conditions and Physical Effort: 

Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds. Work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks, such as operating dangerous equipment or working with      chemicals.
