Who We Are: Come join Intel's Client SOC Architecture team as a Client SoC Performance Architect. The team is responsible for developing advanced modelling and methodology techniques and using them to conduct architectural exploration and optimization.
Who You Are: You will be responsible for driving and developing advanced modelling and analysis techniques and using them to define and propose future SoCs architectures with industry leading performance and power.
This role will require close cooperation with the architecture, validation, software, emulation, design, post silicon and power teams.

As aClient SoC Performance Architect, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Architecturally defines, models and evaluates the viability of complex hardware features and ensures that software and hardware designs interface correctly.
Identifies, analyzes and resolves subsystem and SoC architectural bottlenecks for complex multiple IP applications.
Influences future product definition by significantly contributing to the architecture used across families and generations.
Willing to effectively work in a team, strong initiative to deliver high quality results, enjoys exploring breadth of technical options and takes informed risks.

QualificationsYou must possess the minimum qualifications below to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum skills and experience that will get you noticed:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of industry experience in the relevant field
–OR- a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of industry experience in the relevant field
–OR- a PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of industry experience in the relevant field
Preferred skills and experience that will make you stand out:
Computer Architecture: 5+ year of experience with simulation-based performance modeling, and performance analysis.
5+ year of experience with System C, C/C++, python, and git.
Academic research in computer architecture and performance/power analysis.
Experience with cache hierarchy, memory, and/or interconnection network architectures.
Experience with Software Architecture and Development using clean coding principles.
Experience using machine learning and data science for analysis.
