The Client Specialist Training Program is a unique 18-month program designed to attract driven and adaptable individuals to join the Financial Services Industry. The training is focused on becoming a Client Specialist on a Financial Advisor team and fully registered with their SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses.
This program will teach individuals the importance of exceptional client service through operational support for Financial Advisors during rotations with teams at the branch. This will allow immersion into Private Wealth Management at Baird.
Following successful completion of the program, Baird will work closely to match associates within a long-term Client Specialist position. While we will consider long-term placement at the branch in which the associate completed the program, we cannot guarantee and may require the associate to relocate to a branch within the they are based.
As a Client Specialist Trainee, you will:
Responsible for client onboarding coordination, which includes managing Financial Advisor(s) prospect pipeline, assisting with proposal generation, preparing new account paperwork, opening accounts, transitioning new assets to Baird, and establishing an ongoing communication/client service plan.Gain knowledge of and partner with Baird’s Corporate Resource Groups to provide the best solutions to clients.Answer all incoming phone calls and handle as appropriate. May schedule client appointments and/or conference room for appointments.Understand and ensure business adherence with firm and financial industry regulatory policies.Maintain Client Relationship Management (CRM) system for Financial Advisor(s), as well as leverage the platform to manage the client relationship through mailings, reporting, e-mail tracking, and more, with the goal of implementing well-defined client service models.May coordinate seminars and client events. Develop client lists, design material and meeting content, and coordinate PowerPoint presentations.May manage the team’s social media presence (website, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).Initiate and complete all transactions required to fully service client accounts i.e., paperwork, correspondence, client request fulfillment and special projects as neededMay enter security orders including stocks, bonds, fixed income, options, annuities, and other investment vehicle orders per Financial Advisors’ instructions or upon client’s verbal direction.May also provide back-up to other teams and the branch, when necessary, as well as perform other duties and special projects as necessary.Strong training through our Client Resource Team to land a role as a CS on a team following the program this would only be if doing the CRT CSE programWhat makes this opportunity great:
