Client Success Analyst (Early Careers)
About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 07 The Team: The Enterprise Solutions division at S&P Global empowers a diverse spectrum of private equity and venture capital firms to effectively control their data and drive internal analytics and insights. Whether it is for portfolio analytics, valuations, investor reporting, or on-demand insight into operating metrics of a specific asset, this team is at the forefront of the FinTech space. This position is ideal for recent undergraduate students eager to kickstart their careers in client services, focusing on creating a successful customer journey, driving adoption, and fostering long-term client engagement. Responsibilities and Impact: Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries via phone and email, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues related to our product suite. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide ongoing support to enhance product adoption and usage. Conduct regular client meetings, including bi-weekly/monthly calls to present KPIs and metrics, while fostering relationships with key decision-makers. Prepare and deliver scheduled reports, including billing and profitability analyses, to provide insights into client accounts. Gather and relay constructive client feedback to Product Management regarding product enhancements and requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve client issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective remediation steps. Participate in product testing and documentation, providing valuable feedback to product teams. Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates) S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $41,990.00 to $69,020.00.. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits. What We’re Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree completed no later than May 2025, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business. Interest in Capital Markets and financial markets is preferred. Experience working in a high-pressure client-facing role is a plus. Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of management and clientele. Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster healthy dialogue and build trusted client relationships. Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Customer service or help desk experience is a plus. Self-motivated; able to work independently with minimal supervision and attention to detail.
