Compensation includes a base salary of $53,200.00 - $79,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. The Client Trainer II (Parts/Service) is responsible for delivering high-impact, educational and consulting content both onsite and through virtual training sessions to Cox Automotive dealer clients. The successful Client Trainer II will exhibit a passion for high level customer satisfaction, understand the client needs, and be able to apply strategies that drive the dealer’s business model. Client Trainers are expected to keep up to date with automotive trends and assist with special projects and team training as needed. Also responsible for effectively communicating training and project status and completing required daily and weekly paperwork.
What You'll Do
Successfully complete training/certification in assigned domain: Fixed Ops (Parts/Service). Brands Supported: Xtime and/or Dealertrack
Demonstrate high proficiency training on all products in domain, including cross certification on additional product lines, and gain knowledge and experience needed to build and adapt consultative training strategies for each unique customer.
Promote and deliver both on-site and virtual instruction and operation of products, within domain, for single, multi-point and strategic account new installs, driving Cox Automotive product and solution utilization and potential revenue impact with customers.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of all assigned products in domain, including product settings, features and benefits, system functionality, and settings cause and effect relationships.
Partner with Manager for performance reviews and development opportunities and work with designated coaches or mentors to help in performance growth.
Effectively customize training curriculum and consulting to dealer needs and present products in a clear, concise manner, demonstrating functionality of the system and answering dealership questions through on-site or virtual dealership trainings.
Troubleshoot questions and issues of domain products to meet each individual customer’s needs.
Work with dealer leadership team to create a customized training plan based on staffing needs, determine any dealer work needed to be successful, and advise on software/hardware needs.
Communicate all dealership training documentation, including training agenda, daily training reports with class attendance and training issues, training recaps, support tickets, and other training communication, recording all documentation in Salesforce.
Schedule travel, manage and submit expenses in accordance with department practices and Cox Automotive company guidelines and policies.
Keep up to date on current automotive trends and best practices to ensure educational content and consulting is relevant to provide maximum value to dealer clients.
Participate in product development and enhancement review sessions to continue development as a domain subject matter expert.
Assist with departmental projects, such as, new software and product releases and training, efficiency projects, and internal new hire training.
Travel Required:
Weekly, overnight travel is required up to 100%. Some travel requires Sunday departure or Saturday return.

Who You Are
Minimum
Automotive/Dealership experience required
Experience with Fixed Ops (Parts/Service) required
BS/BA with 2 years’ related work experience, OR MS and up to 2 years’ related work experience OR 6 years’ related work experience with no degree
Highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently and in a team environment
Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to effectively articulate and communicate in a way that retains trainee engagement
Comfortable with extensive weekly and overnight travel
Exceptional listening skills, ability to problem solve, and patience with customers of all skill levels
Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively to ensure successful completion of each training.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required
High energy, enthusiastic, determined, and able to motivate customers to use Dealer Solutions Software products
Preferred
Fixed Ops Advisor/Manager experience preferred
Experience with Salesforce and/or Cox Automotive products preferred
