The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Responsible for managing daily production Workflow. Be a Data Stewardship/Data Quality SME and have strong Project representation skills. Also responsible to maintain and ensure compliance with Department procedures & overall Bank Policies.

Perform verification function by ensuring consistency and accuracy of information of legal entities and individual  records in the onboarding and  for

Manage multiple simultaneous requests in a fast paced environment, performing modifications and updates.

Proactively recognize and manage risk.

Responsibilities:

65% Daily Production Workflow / Team Leadership

Daily Production Workflow Management; monitor team productivity and quality; provide coaching and assign tasks.Participation in all departments’ daily tasks as dictated by workload and staffing levelsInteract with internal partners such as, Compliance, Credit, Regulatory Reporting, Audit and Chief Data Office; present complex issues in simple and straightforward manner to internal clients. Manage the consolidation of customers to ensure bank exposures are denoted accurately.Provide backup leadership support and assist in setting up local strategy,Participate in panel interviews of job seekers at the Specialist/Analyst level.

10% Reporting/Reconciliation

Provide support for existing department reports for daily, weekly, and monthly processes.Create and maintain ad-hoc reports on customer data to support the department.Analyze and reconcile reports to ensure data accuracyInvestigate and resolve inaccuracies between applications relating to customer data

10% Subject Matter Expertise / Training / Procedures / Change Management.

Act as Subject Matter Expertise on the customer onboarding platform, its data, and downstream applications; understand the complete end-to-end life cycle of customer data.Curate processes and procedures related to party data validation; observe proper change management and process governance.Perform training and presentations to stakeholders and business partners.Maintain and ensure compliance with Department procedures & overall bank policies.

10% Project participation

Participate with multi-disciplinary teams to address new business initiatives, system enhancement projects, and one-off assignments as required; work with business users & technology through project requirements, design, and analysis phases to ensure coverage and quality for customer data.Act as official representative of the team in projects related to our systems and processes.Participate in system testing as required, developing, and maintaining test scripts and coordinating testing activities; UAT testing, and deployment.

Additional Information:

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in a financial institution with products (i.e. derivatives, securitization, syndication) and operations (Front or Middle Office) knowledge.Solid knowledge of KYC/AML/BSA & Credit policies and ability to apply this knowledge in assessing client KYC profiles.Related professional certifications highly preferred (i.e. ACAMS) 
Solid understanding of business activities, compliance / risk issues, data governanceRigorous and motivated by regulatory aspectsExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in EnglishStrong analytical ability and attention to detail Inquisitive, tenacious, and investigative 
Strong time management, prioritization, work organization and multi-tasking skillsEffective Internet and research skillsProficiency in MS Office - Word, Access and Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP’s), Tableau and end user tools such as Business ObjectsSolid judgment, strong negotiation skills, and a practical approach in execution of dutiesAbility to quickly learn new systems and software is a plus.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $87K to $104K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
