Sustainability - Digital - Manager
Ernst & Young LLP’s (EY) Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) practice is a dynamic, growing, and diversified business that is seeking qualified and motivated digital professionals to fulfill and expand our services. Our global CCaSS practice leverages our deep knowledge of digital solutions and data analysis to provide advisory services to assist clients with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) compliance, reporting and goal ambition.
The opportunity
You will assist our clients in selecting, implementing and sustaining enterprise systems to support EHS and ESG programs. You’ll be given all the skills, knowledge, and opportunities to progress and become ready to build a better working world for our people, our clients, and the communities that support us. Regular travel up to 30% may be required as you will be meeting with key clients, some of those being the most respected in their fields.
Your key responsibilities
You will provide exceptional digital advisory services for our clients. Colleagues and clients from a diverse array of backgrounds will look to you first for answers on EHS and ESG matters, and your insights and experience will be called upon to resolve complex issues. As you build your knowledge and experience, you will become a credible advisor, influencing clients, and engagement teams on continual process improvement.
Design and implement enterprise systems in the EHS and ESG domain Use SQL and Visual Studio to automate data uploading, data migration and reporting Develop Business Intelligence dashboards using Tableau and Power BI for Executive Management to use for data analysis and decision making Work with client IT and Product Management teams on data cleansing, designing and executing data migration tasks from old systems into new applications, performing quality checks on data, designing mock-ups based on client requirements, and developing reports for various audiences Guide management through the change management process and acceptance of change related to deployment of enterprise management systems Evaluate and recommend software solutions and updates to existing and new clients; recommend new approaches and ideas that continuously improve efficiency Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge and enhance service delivery Participate in new client and engagement pursuits, and provide insights on the EHS and ESG marketplace Create and execute sales proposals for new projects/clients using MS Office Develop and maintain project plan which consists of tasks and schedules Oversee engagement economics and managing appropriate resources for efficient engagement models Serve as a mentor to colleagues and other firm professionals on EHS and ESG matters Coordinate other work groups within the same or different office locations and/or within the same or different disciplines on an as-needed basis

To qualify for the role you must have
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, environmental science, statistics or data analytics supported by 5 to 7 years of work experience in EHS or ESG software Experience in implementing ERP software for large complex organizations A deep understanding of environmental regulation (e.g. CAA,); safety regulations and compliance (e.g. OSHA); and/or the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting landscape and business drivers Licensure as appropriate for your profession (e.g. PE, PMP, CAP, Six Sigma, etc.) Proven project management skills The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver's license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations

Experience in programming languages such as SQL, Visual Basic, Nabsic and Java
What we offer We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $127,100 to $233,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $152,500 to $264,800. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
