Job Description:

The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Florida (Gainesville) is seeking interested applicants for a position as a Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate is expected to facilitate multidisciplinary relationships to maintain a high level of patient care and possess a strong interest in clinical research as well as resident education. This a multi-mission, non-tenure track position. 

Primary Activities - Include all aspects of radiation therapy patient care and treatment, with specialization in a limited number of disease site practices. At this time there are opportunities for new faculty to direct or support care within the main disease sites of GYN, GU, GI, Lung, and Sarcoma.

Secondary responsibilities are excellence in resident education and research or other scholarly activity. The Department has a strong infrastructure and substantial financial resources for assistance with statistical analysis, grant preparation, journal publication, travel for academic activities, and CME.

Expected Salary:

Negotiable; commensurate with experience

Minimum Requirements:

MD degree and completion of four years of residency training in an acceptable radiation oncology training program required. Applicants must be board-certified or board-eligible in Radiation Oncology, and be eligible for a Florida Medical License.

Preferred Qualifications:

Desired candidates will have radiation oncology experience and a background in clinical research.
