Department Description: Fort Sanders Regional’s extensive surgical capabilities are transforming the surgery experience for patients in East Tennessee. From the area’s first robotically-assisted surgery system, image-guided brain and spinal cord procedures, to our hybrid operating room, Fort Sanders Regional provides patients more options and the best surgical technology available. Position Summary: Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Reviews clinical performance of preceptee with unit leader or clinical instructor. + Provides four contact hours of educational activities, excluding basic patient education. + Contributes to development and evaluation of unit orientation program. + Supervises LPNs, Nursing Assistants, HUCs, Techs, and sitters. + Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards.
