As a Clinic Assistant you will:

Work as a member of an integrated team.Play a significant role in ensuring that clients/patients have a positive experience with the designated services within a fast paced, high volume clinic environment.Your work may include:scheduling and booking appointments;typing technical and non-technical material;maintaining filing and computerized patient/client/client database systems; andprocessing a variety of requisitions.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Grade 12, Medical Terminology plus one year's recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to keyboard 45 wpm.Knowledge of medical terminology.Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Ability to deal with others effectively.Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.Ability to organize work.Ability to operate related equipment.
