Thibodaux Physical Therapy is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinic Director who is also a licensed Physical Therapist to lead our Lapeer team. As Clinic Director, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure the delivery of top-tier patient care. You will combine your clinical expertise with leadership and management responsibilities. As a key team member, you will drive the clinic’s growth, maintain high patient satisfaction, and ensure efficient, evidence-based rehabilitation services.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the clinic's daily operations, ensuring a smooth, efficient workflow.Lead, mentor, and support a team of physical therapists, administrative staff, and other healthcare professionals.Conduct patient evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy.Monitor and improve clinical performance, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of care.Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including documentation and billing practices.Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.Drive the clinic’s business growth by establishing relationships with referral sources, increasing patient volume, and participating in community outreach.Stay current with advancements in physical therapy and integrate best practices into the clinic’s services.Manage the clinic’s budget, resources, and scheduling to optimize operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Michigan or able to obtain it.Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience as a physical therapist, with some leadership or supervisory experience preferred.Experience in outpatient orthopedic, sports rehab, or manual therapy settings.Proven ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.Passion for patient-centered care with a commitment to improving outcomes.Business acumen with a focus on clinic growth and operational success.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with clinic management or leadership roles.Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and clinic management software.
