Position Purpose:
Manages the daily clinic operations, selection and development of staff, and financial operation of assigned clinics. Responsible for new provider practice start-up and physician scheduling. Works jointly with the URO staff and other support staff to assure these functions support the specific site. Identifies and strives to achieve customer needs and expectations while promoting quality improvement initiatives through Process Excellence.
What you will Do:
Leads clinic(s) using Mercy Way principles and tools.
Develops implements and periodically reviews department/organization policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services complying with Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa policies, Joint Commission requirements and federal and state regulations. Maintains current knowledge base of trends, policies, regulatory standards, and legislation and advises administration when pertinent. Assures clinic(s) are in compliance with above.
Continuously assesses and improves the department's performance based on, but not limited to the departments quality plan monitors, process improvement initiatives, patient/associate satisfaction data and associate safety and injury prevention.
Hours/Schedule:
40; Hours/Week; Monday-Friday, No weekends/holidays!
Minimum Qualifications:
A. Education
1.Bachelor's degree in business or approved course of study.
B. Experience
1. Two years in supervisory capacity, coaching/leader role.
2. Previous experience in healthcare preferred.
