The Registered Nurse –Clinic/Wellness/Immunization works to serve a specific population’s health andwellness needs. The Registered Nurse demonstrates the ability to make clinicaljudgments effectively and efficiently to provide quality appropriate care inaccordance with facility’s policies and protocols. These variety of sites include but are notlimited to community or employment immunization clinics, wellness clinics, jobsafety and workers compensation sites and travel health clinics from pediatricto geriatric age populations.
Details of the position include:
Location: Lynn, MA
Duration: 13 weeks to start (prefer someone who is open to going on perm inthe future)
Facility Type: Primary Care Clinic
Schedule: Mon/Tues, 8:30-5 & Weds-Fri,8:45-5:15
Dutiesand Responsibilities (these are a general summary and not all inclusive):
· Administeringvaccines
· Triagepatients by telephone or in person to determine urgency and level of careneeded, assuring appropriate care disposition.
· Performpatient procedures, assesses patient health status, and provides healtheducation to patients/families regarding pertinent health issues, clinicalconditions, treatments, recommended follow up actions and /or home care.
· Communicatepertinent abnormal test results to provider.
· Trackpatients for necessarily follow up documenting appropriately.
· Utilizethose skills to interact with patients/clients, team members and staff fromother departments.
Qualifications:
· Clinicor pediatric experience
· Chargenurse experience
· Bi-lingualin Spanish /Khmer/Russian with knowledge of medical terminology preferred
