Clinic RN - Providence Imaging Center

Provides nursing expertise and assistance in improving the efficiency and quality of services offered at Providence Imaging Center.  The primary focus of the nurse is with PIC's breast imaging services.  The nurse works with patients, referring clinicians, medical specialists, radiologists, PIC staff and Cancer center staff to help meet the needs of patients from screening mammography through diagnosis.   The nurse also assists with other PIC departments and projects.

Hours: Full time, 0.9 FTE, Day Shift, 40 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday 0700 to 1800.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 2 years recent experience in a clinical or educational setting

Preferred Qualifications:

A strong emphasis on patient education and marketing skills
