Clinical Administrative Coordinator
Description We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Administrative Coordinator to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. As a Clinical Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing member intake, processing referrals, and coordinating with clinical staff. The Clinical Administrative Coordinator position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Process and manage incoming calls, requests for services from providers/members, and transfer members as appropriate to clinical staff. • Handle administrative intake of members and manage the admission/discharge information post-notification. • Work closely with hospitals and the clinical team to provide information on available network services. • Oversee the referrals process and handle incoming and outgoing referrals and prior authorizations. • Maintain a high degree of professionalism in both personal conduct and appearance at all times. • Possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook. • Exhibit excellent organizational skills and customer service, including both verbal and written communication. • Uphold strict confidentiality at all times and adhere to all department/organizational policies and procedures. • Demonstrate a strong knowledge base in medical terminology. • Work independently with some supervision and direction from the manager. • Carry out database/queue entry tasks and correspondence completion tasks efficiently. Requirements • High School Diploma or GED required. • Two years of administrative support experience. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel Word and Outlook. • Must be able to work independently with some supervision and direction from manager. • Possesses medical terminology knowledge base. • Must possess and demonstrate excellent organizational skills customer service skills to include verbal and written communication. Must maintain and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism to include both personal conduct and appearance at all times. • Must maintain strict confidentiality at all times. • Must adhere to all department/ organizational policies and procedures.
