**Clinical Aide - Patient Transportation**
**St. John's Regional Medical Center**
We are currently seeking a reliable and empathetic **Clinical Aide** to join our healthcare team. As a **Clinical Aide** you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and comfortable transfer of patients within our medical facility. Your responsibilities will include transporting patients to and from various departments while providing a supportive and compassionate experience.
**Responsibilities**
+ Safely transport patients to different areas of the hospital for scheduled appointments, tests, and procedures.
+ Ensure proper patient identification and verify destination with medical staff.
+ Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals, maintaining a caring and respectful demeanor.
+ Maneuver and operate transport equipment, such as wheelchairs and stretchers, with safety and efficiency.
+ Assist patients in and out of beds, chairs, and other transport devices as needed.
+ Collaborate with nursing and other healthcare staff to prioritize patient transport needs.
+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of transport equipment.
**Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma.
+ Hospital experience working with patient transportation preferred.
+ Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)

**Pay Range**
$23.00 - $25.49 /hour
