The Clinical Analyst II applies experience and knowledge in Medicare Set Asides, Medical Cost Projections, and other medical reports to support the Allocations product line. This includes preparing allocation reports and providing a final review of narratives produced by technology and other narrative writers. 

•    Working knowledge of the Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) Statute.
•    Two years experience in a clinical or medical field. 
•    Experience in preparing Medicare Set-Asides & Medical Cost Projections desired
•    Certification as MSCC (Medicare Set Aside Consultant) or similar certification is a plus
•    Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, and presentation skills
•    Strong time management skills and ability to work self-directed and remotely
•    Works well in a team-driven, fast-paced, professional environment
•    Ability to be flexible in job duties based on department needs
•    Excellent technical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Through a review of relevant medical files and related documentation, the Clinical Analyst II provides a narrative and cost projection for future treatment related to Worker's Compensation and Liability injuries consistent with the current guidelines. For Liability Nurse Reviews, the Clinical Analyst II writes the medical chronology.

•    Utilizes Verisk Casualty Solutions proprietary narrative guidelines and leverages propriety technology to create/finalize chronologies and narrative summaries for Allocations product line files. 
•    Uses Verisk Casualty Solutions proprietary information and technology tools to identify industrial conditions/diagnoses, apply guidelines, and develop a future treatment allocation for medical treatment services and prescription medication for a variety of products under Allocations product line. 
•    Identifies cost drivers and cost savings opportunities on files and cost mitigation cost activities on files where applicable. 
•    Assists with QA activities as related to narrative technology.
•    Other duties as determined by the management team.
