The Clinical Applications Specialist for Radiometer is responsible for providing the vital training and education to customers in the pre-analytical, analytical and post analytical operation of their instruments. This position is part of the Clinical Applications Organization reporting to the report to the Lead Clinical Applications Specialist and will be remote, traveling a territory in and around Washington, D.C, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Richmond, Virginia within our Mid-Atlantic Business Unit (MABU). In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Provide sophisticated training product workshops in assigned region through continued education to Radiometer customers and effectively respond to customer needs concerning clinical questions or problems. + Establish a routine and continual follow up for current and prospective customers to ensure satisfaction with Radiometer products. + Collaborate on installations and demonstrations as needed to support Sales and Information Technology Solutions (ITS) team. The essential requirements of the job include: + B.S. or A.S. degree, preferred in Medical Technology or Respiratory Therapy or Clinical/Biomedical + Ability to travel up to 75% travel, including overnight, and ability to lift or maneuver 40 lbs. + 3+ years’ experience in hospital or research experience with medical device capital equipment: Respiratory, Laboratory or similar clinical background. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: + Ability to travel up to 75% travel, including overnight, and ability to lift or maneuver 40 lbs. + Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Experience in respiratory, Laboratory, critical care medicine, medical device Instrumentation, hospital data management systems, or mentor/educator experience + A knowledge of current regulatory guidelines is helpful + Experience as a medical device representative or field service engineer in a highly regulated environment + Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 per year. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
