Your tasks at a glance            

You assist during the pre-op exams and fill the patient’s charts accurately.You answer patient’s questions and ensure the best service.You work closely with Optometrists. You conduct pre-operative and post-operative tests for patients. You update the appointment system after every patient's consultation.You confirm by phone post-operative appointments.You will be cross-trained for the receptionist position (once you have completed your initial training).A clear view of your assets     You have an interest in the medical field and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You find it easy to connect with others and quickly build trust.You especially thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and when you work as part of a team.You are comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).Your experience in the health care field is considered an asset (ex: optometry assistant, orderly, dental assistant, pharmacy lab technician, sterilization assistant, animal health technician assistant, etc.). Important: You have excellent communication skills, you speak English et français également (advanced intermediate level of French required due to the nature of the tasks or interactions with our French-speaking patients). Schedule: You are available to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 pm to 5:00 pm, with some flexibility for occasional late evenings (until 7:00 pm, once per month) and occasional Saturdays (9:00 am to 2:00 pm, once per month).
