Job Description:

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida is seeking a board certified/eligible pediatrician at the Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Professor level to pursue a career in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. This is a 1.0 FTE non- tenure accruing faculty appointment in association with the Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Sacred Heart in Pensacola, Florida. The service is seeking a motivated physician who desires a career in pediatric medicine within an academic setting. 

The Studer Family Children’s Hospital celebrated its 50th year in 2019 with the opening of a new Children’s Hospital. The Children’s Hospital has a full complement of pediatric subspecialties and support programs. Through UF Health and Ascension Sacred Heart, we are staying on the leading edge of children's healthcare. Our mission is to promote health through outstanding and high-quality patient care; innovative and rigorous education in the health professions and biomedical sciences; and high-impact research across the spectrum of basic, translational and clinical investigation.

Appointment will be at the non-tenure accruing level of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, based on qualifications. Experience and/or interest in education is valued.

Expected Salary:

Commensurate with education and experience

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must have a M.D. degree, be licensed in or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida in pediatrics, and be board certified/board eligible in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics or Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics.
