Clinical Assistant Professor

Job Summary:
This position is a full time, non-tenure track role within the College of Nursing. As described in the Upstate faculty handbook, this role involves standard faculty obligations in the general areas of teaching, scholarship, and service. Specifically, this position also entails two areas of responsibility:
-50% teaching assignment in College of Nursing courses (face-to-face, hybrid, and online)
-Development and deployment of supplemental simulation curriculum and activities for College of Nursing and community college partnership students
Minimum Qualifications:
NYS licensed/registered RN or eligible required. Master's degree in nursing from an institution of higher education accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency. Three years of recent work experience. Ability and skills to work independently and collaboratively with faculty, students, and others.
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctorate or current doctoral candidate with faculty experience preferred. Working knowledge of simulation, curriculum design and implementation preferred. Experience in clinical or didactic instruction preferred.

Varies based upon the needs of the College
