The Clinical Assistant Professor is a non-tenure track position with responsibilities for clinical education and service. Clinical faculty may participate in research or other scholarly or creative activities.

Description of Primary Duties
Teach project management courses focusing on one or more of the following topical content areas: agile project management, program and portfolio management, project risk and quality management, cost and schedule management, and project leadership

Support the collaboration between different engineering and technology programs within the Department.

Active participation in departmental outreach and service activities.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
The minimum acceptable qualifications for the Clinical Assistant Professor rank are determined by the department and approved by the Dean and the Provost. Clinical Faculty must be qualified as defined by professional/discipline standards, have practical experience appropriate for the responsibilities assigned, and must maintain appropriate professional credentials. The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds is required.

Additional Qualifications
Earned master’s in project management, engineering, business, technology, or related field.

Evidence of strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills is required.

Substantial industry experience in Project, Program, or Portfolio Management (7+ years) is required.
