Job Description

Under the supervision of a Clinical practitioner, the Clinical Athletic Trainer acts in the capacity of a liaison between the patient, the medical doctors or their support staffs, and the medical assistant. Job includes following the patient from the time of arrival to their time of departure and making sure all the patients and doctor’s needs are met to provide the best physician/patient experience as possible.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology or Exercise Science

BLS certification

Licensed Athletic Trainer in State of Missouri – must maintain current license to remain in the position

Demonstrated core values of customer focus, teamwork, and professional communication.

Excellent communication skills, and ability to effective communicate with patients and all levels of clinic staff

Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical office

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in an Orthopedic Clinic setting
