As a Clinical Audiologist at our Beachwood Family Health Center, you will help perform diagnostic audiological test procedures to evaluate patient's hearing status, auditory pathway function and communicative function and maintains records for all services. **A caregiver in this position works days, from 8:00am-5:00pm.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Interpret and report test results to facilitate medical diagnosis to provide counseling and education about hearing loss, hearing aids and communication to patients and their families. + Perform electroacoustic analysis of hearing aids. + Perform hearing aid checks and minor repairs of hearing aids. + Provide direct and indirect supervision of student externs, clinical fellows, fourth-year Au.D students and otolaryngology residents, as requested. + Assist with planning, budget, service or project development, fee setting, purchase of new equipment or materials. + Perform daily and monthly equipment checks and biological calibrations. + Assist with electroacoustic calibration of equipment, as needed. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Doctorate in Audiology (AuD). + Current employees may be grandfathered with Master's degree in Audiology. + Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiolog license to practice audiology upon hire. + Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology license to practice audiology upon start date. + Obtain certificate of Clinical Competence Audiology (CCC-A) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) within new hire period. + Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), Supervised Professional Experience (SPE) Year, or equivalent. + Broad knowledge of diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology clinical skills.
