Under the supervision of the Corporate Director of Critical Care Services, this position is responsible for the development and implementation of high quality, evidence-based educational programs to enhance cardiac care across the critical care and DOU units. The Clinical Educator will serve as a resource for nurses, providing support in the coordination of advanced nursing skills, patient follow-up, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction. This role requires collaboration with leadership, medical staff, and the interdisciplinary team to foster a strong clinical environment and professional growth among nurses. **Job Requirements** **M** **inimum Education Requirement :** Bachelor's Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred. **Minimum Experience Requirement :** Previous experience as an educator preferred. Two years experience with critical care, or cath lab, and/or cardiac surgery preferred. Open-heart surgery experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills required. **Minimum License Requirement :** Current California RN license. BLS required. ACLS required within 3 months of hire/transfer. Emanate Health Work Place Violence online awareness module within 30 days of hire/transfer. National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale Certification "A" required within 3 months of hire/transfer. Certification in area of specialty preferred.
