The Clinical Care Specialist (CCS) will be responsible for the collection and entry of clinical supporting documents needed to care for our patients, including, but not limited to: laboratory results, signed written orders, assignment of benefits, and ongoing clinical documentation. This role requires advanced program and working knowledge of data entry and healthcare-related knowledge.

Responsibilities Communicates effectively across pharmacy and/or corporate teams and with patients, and successfully resolves issues.Assists Supervisor in day-to-day pharmacy operations and in implementing new procedures to ensure that the accurate and timely dispensing of quality pharmacy services is consistently delivered to all patients using effective service leadership and customer skills.Manages communication, assignments, process updates and feedback in the CCS work group.Knowledgeable to perform all CCS functions and resolves escalations regarding difficult cases. Provides thorough, accurate and timely responses to requests. Qualifications High School Diploma/GEDAssociates or Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.Licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state lawNationally Certified Pharmacy Technician1+ years pharmacy or other healthcare-related experience preferred.Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work with all levels of management and staff, vast knowledge of pharmacy terminology and process.Ability to multitask in a demanding environment.Excellent organizational skills and mindfulness.
