Position Summary
The Clinical Concierge Patient Care Assistant (PCA) provides quality care focused on the comfort and wellbeing of the patient and family focused on basic patient care activities and customer service-oriented delivery of care to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse, ARNP, PA-C, or Physician. You will maintain confidentiality of all patient records and other proprietary information and assure the privacy and dignity of all patients is maintained. You will use your exceptional AIDET skills to communicate effectively and courteously with patients as appropriate to their developmental status or age.This position requires a highly collaborative approach to services in a clinic environment.
Responsibilities
Greets patients and assists in registration as needed based on clinic workflow and patient needsDocuments all pertinent visit information in the medical recordAssists physicians, physician assistant and/or nurse practitioner in exam rooms; performs and/or assists with nursing procedures for a wide variety of illnesses and injuries as appropriate to scop of practice under the supervision of a physician or other providerEscorts patients to exam rooms, interviews patients, measures vital signs and provides verbal report to providerDischarges and assists with patient check out and provider referral process; provides instructions to patients as instructed by providerKeeps exam rooms stocked with appropriate levels of medical supplies; maintains instruments and assists with sterilization, as requiredMaintains logs and required checklistsCalls patients to convey normal test results and/or for customer service purposesTakes telephone messages and provides feedback and answersRequirements
Certified Nursing Assistant Certification with the State of Washington or Obtain MA-R within 60 days of hire and maintainBLS obtained within 30 days of hireA Better Way to Work in Health Care

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $19.86 - $28.58 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
