Position Summary
Provides clinical oversight of Pediatric Rehabilitation Services. Conducts physical therapy evaluations and treatments according to established standards of physical therapy and physician’s referral and physical therapy plan of care
Primary Position Responsibilities
1. Assists in the daily operation of the Pediatric Rehabilitation Department.
2. Evaluates infants, toddlers and children; develops appropriate treatment plans.
3. Provides developmentally appropriate, therapeutic interventions.
4. Completes thorough and accurate evaluation reports and ongoing daily session notes and progress reports.
5. Maintains acceptable levels of clinical productivity; submits billing accordingly.
6. Communicates with other essential medical, community/school personnel; Counsels and educates patient, family and/or caregiver regarding treatment goals and progress.
7. Maintains personal knowledge and skill levels and contributes to enhancing that of colleagues.

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy
Preferred: Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy or related field or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy
Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):
Required: Three to five years experience in a pediatric setting
Preferred: Supervisory experience
License, Registry or Certification:
Required: Current New Jersey State License
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
Required: Pediatric Experience
