The Clinical Coordinator performs under the supervision of the Program Director with matrix supervision from the Director of Education.

Responsibilities Correlate and coordinate clinical education and evaluate its effectivenessEvaluate the progress of student performance in the clinical areaAssist the Program Director in coordinating clinical educationSupervise student performance at clinical affiliatesDevelop student objectives and evaluation tools for clinical educationPerform competency based clinical evaluationsMaintain student clinical assignmentsAct as resource to radiography studentsSchedule student clinical assignmentsAssist in continuous program assessmentAssist Clinical staff in maintaining and improving skills relating to student supervisionConduct film evaluation with studentsInstruct specific units of teaching as necessaryMaintain current knowledge of program policies, procedures, and student progressPursue continuing education in professional practice and instructional methodologyCooperate with the Program Director in periodic review and revision of clinical course materialProvide training and education to clinical preceptorsTravel to affiliate clinical sites (6)Duties as assigned Qualifications Education/ ExperienceBachelors degree requiredGraduate of an educational program in RadiologyHolds American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or equivalentState certificate as a Radiologic Technologist2 years of clinical experience as a radiographer

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

Documents the equivalent of two year full-time experience in the professional disciplinePrevious teaching experience preferredProficient in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and counselingState certificate as a Radiologic Technologist2 years of clinical experience as a radiographer
