Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital, is looking for a full-time Clinical Dietitian to oversee the nutrition management of all patients in assigned areas which involves nutritional assessment and care plan development. The role of the clinical dietitian is responsible for the nutrition management of all patients in assigned areas which involves nutritional assessment and care plan development. This includes education, goal definition/implementation, and monitoring of patient outcomes (i.e. progress towards goals). Responsible for medical record documentation accordance with defined policy and procedure, provision of patient, family and community education, consultation to medical and nursing staff on clinical nutrition and food service issues, and completion of required in-servicing on patient nutritional management. Appropriate practice of infection control measures i.e. response to isolation precautions. Direction of food service staff as needed. Electronic Menu system utilization and management, participation in food and nutrition management activities such as test trays and meal rounds as requested.
We are looking for a committed clinical dietitian with good interpersonal skills with a genuine interest in helping individuals. Previous dietitian experience and NYS Dietitian/Nutritionist certification is preferred.
Minimum Requirements:
