Liberty Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Director to oversee our award-winning Jail Based Competency Treatment program at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga, CA - the largest of its kind in the State of California.
This groundbreaking program provides court-mandated forensic assessments, psychiatric stabilization, and competency restoration services to patients deemed incompetent to stand trial in San Bernardino County.
Ideally located within a 1 to 2-hour drive of Los Angeles, San Diego, and Palm Springs, this position offers a unique leadership opportunity in forensic mental health with the flexibility of a hybrid work environment.
As Clinical Director, you will oversee a multidisciplinary team of forensic mental health professionals, ensuring high-quality care while collaborating with state and county partners.
Leadership responsibilities include:
+ Managing a multidisciplinary team of professionals
+ Implementing quality improvement initiatives to ensure patients receive high quality forensic mental health services
+ Facilitating treatment team meetings
+ Guiding treatment planning
+ Building collaborative relationships with county and state partners
Clinical responsibilities include:
+ Conducting comprehensive competence evaluations
+ Formulating treatment plans
+ Writing reports
+ Providing court testimony

This is a hybrid position which will require onsite work while also allowing for some remote work from home.
You are a good fit for this role if you are licensed (or license eligible) as a Psychologist in California, have experience conducting forensic evaluations, and have the ability to lead others.
