Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties that are assigned.

Provide consultation, instruction, and clinical supervision to clinical staff providing counseling servicesReview and cosign all treatment plans and other required clinical documentationOversees all Patient Screening, Assessment, and Admission servicesEnsures that all individual treatment plans are compliantEnsures that all Discharge and Aftercare Plans are compliantWorks with medical staff to ensure a safe but effective dosing regimen for all patientsEnsures compliance regarding all take-home medicationEnsures charting/documentation complianceEnsures the proper and timely collection of all UDS screensEstablishes, maintains, and oversees a clinical treatment team and its operationAssists with the clinical Quality Assurance team; this team also address Quality Improvement issuesAssists with the clinical aspect of CARF requirementsMonitors and addresses, where needed, the day-to-day clinical aspects/needs of the programAddresses/oversees Patient Rights, Responsibilities, and ComplaintsBe aware of changes to regulations, available training opportunities, and other information impacting service delivery

Education and/or Experience: The Clinical Director must meet state-defined minimum licensure, education, and experience requirements.

Position Requirements:

The most qualified candidates will possess the following:

Master's Level Degree (or equivalent) and/or 5 years of experience working in addictions treatment.Must be licensed as a practitioner to provide treatment, therapeutic advice, or counseling for the rehabilitation of drug-dependent persons in compliance with state practice acts or certified as an addiction counselor.Certified in the Virginia state with one of the following licenses is preferred:LPCLSATPLCSWLMFTMust have at least one (1) year of supervisory and administrative experience in the field of substance abuse treatment.
