Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist (Remote)
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist (CDIS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong RN experience in clinical documentation, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for improving patient care through accurate and thorough documentation. Key Responsibilities: + Review and analyze clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards. + Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and ensure it accurately reflects the patient's clinical status. + Utilize 3M 360 software to support clinical documentation improvement initiatives. + Educate and train healthcare providers on best practices for clinical documentation. + Monitor and report on documentation trends and identify opportunities for improvement. + Participate in quality improvement projects and initiatives. Qualifications: + Active RN license. Seeking previous RN experience in Med surge & Acute Care. + Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist (CDIS). + Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) license or certification. + Proficiency with 3M 360 software. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Details: + 100% remote | equipment provided. Located in the state of CT preferred. + Must be located in CT to be considered for a permanent position. If located outside of CT, this will remain as an ongoing contract position. + Pay: $39/hr. - $43/hr. based on related experience. + Pay cycle – weekly | medical, dental & vision benefits offered.
