Summary  

​​The System Clinical Educator will provide development expertise for both licensed and unlicensed rehabilitation team members by functioning as an educator, consultant, facilitator, change agent and leader. Responsible for managing the consistent implementation and delivery of training, education, and performance improvements within the MFB System. Work to assess and execute strategies relating to trends, opportunities, and training needs for clinical practice. Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs within each system site. This role works closely with clinical educators and leaders within each system site to provide leadership in conducting educational needs assessments, planning, designing, and implementing educational offerings for both licensed and unlicensed clinicians. The role leads investigations, curriculum development, community development, and teaching of evidenced based rehabilitation nursing principles and practice.​ 

 

Essential Job Responsibilities  

​​Work closely with the System Educators and Leadership to assess performance, identify gaps and key drivers, and recommend training solutions and other related strategies for enhancing performance. 

​Ensure successful implementation of the training curriculum. 

​Define business and performance objectives for all relevant training initiatives. 

​Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of training in achieving desired outcomes. 

​Keep abreast of current learning and performance strategies, delivery methods, and techniques. 

​Determine implementation plans, schedules, resource needs, and supporting logistics for delivery of training initiatives. 

​Manage external resources, as needed, to maximize cost effectiveness and quality. 

​Facilitate training from time to time. 

​Perform other duties as required.

Essential Job Qualifications  

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 

Clinical Certification required in nursing or therapy (RN, PT, OT, SLP) within 2 years 

2-5 years prior experience in training and/or education 

Active Driver’s License with willingness to travel to system sites.  

Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with leaders, staff, and physicians.  

Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner 

Ability to communicate with all levels of executive, management, and company personnel 

Ability to deal with the public in a professional manner 

Ability to maintain confidentiality of information 

Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure 

Ability to manage multiple projects to meet target dates for implementation 

Ability to operate personal computer, spreadsheet application, database, windows 

Ability to prioritize and organize effectively 

Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties

Advanced skills in evaluating the impact of training initiatives

Preferred Job Qualifications
