Job Overview:

RWJBH is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator for our Peri-op areas, which include Operating Room and Endoscopy at the New Brunswick campus.

Qualifications:

Required:

BSNAt least 5 years of experience with Peri-op in oncology surgical service line and Endoscopy.Strong communication and organizational skills to support procedural areasProficient computer skills

Preferred:

MSN preferred or actively pursuing

Certifications and Licenses Required:

BLS and ACLS CertificationActive New Jersey Registered Nurse License

Scheduling Requirements:

Day ShiftMonday Friday, some weekend commitment, flexible schedule requiredFT

Essential Functions:

Plan and design orientation plan for orientees, develop and provide continuing education, provide in-service programs in accordance with the requirements of NJ Board of Nursing current regulatory guidelines the Code of Ethics and institutional guidelinesImplement and evaluate educational activities/programs.Develop and maintain employee records.Serve as a resource person for education and promoted education in the Nursing Division.Responsible for maintaining competencies as required by regulatory agencies.Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and deliver education to ensure quality and best practice.
