We seek an individual who possesses a collaborative approach to working with colleagues, who has the desire and ability to foster meaningful connections between the film studies program and the greater filmmaking and arts communities both locally and nationally, and who brings these collaborations into their classes.
The clinical faculty in Film will teach 4 to 6 undergraduate courses in filmmaking and criticism per year depending on administrative responsibilities and course scheduling needs during the academic year. This faculty role requires the ability to teach specific courses or subject areas and the creativity to design new courses; involves recruiting, advising, and mentoring students; and has the potential for future leadership and administration of the Film Studies program (in multi-year terms that are renewable).
