Job Summary
Digital Products and Services Clinical Informatics Senior Analyst team members are responsible for securely managing information systems throughout their lifecycle, including knowing what information systems are within their scope of responsibility, understanding what sensitive data is stored, transmitted, or processed on those information systems, enforcing the security principles of least privilege and least functionality, knowing what events may constitute a cybersecurity incident, and understanding their role in security incident response activities. supporting physicians, clinicians, health care workers, affiliates and partners by providing continuous support, troubleshooting and identifying opportunities for clinical information system improvements. Serves as a liaison between the clinical departments and Epic applications team in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. Promotes future and present system functionality by designing, and providing recommendations for building and testing the clinical information systems. Enhances the organization by driving the evolution of customer-oriented, cost-effective and integrated health information management systems.

The Clinical Informatics Analyst Sr identifies clinical practice workflow and process issues and concerns and provides leadership and guidance to define system and process requirements that will optimize system performance and technology utilization by clinical practitioners. This role requires a high level of expertise in both clinical workflows and advanced technology solutions. The Clinical Informaticist applies the understanding of data, information, knowledge, and wisdom of key concepts into their practice to enhance the efficient use of the Electronic Health Record.
Works directly with physicians, nurses, and other members of the Epic (Dimensions) governance committees as well as the interdisciplinary teams to evaluate current EMR functionality and recommends innovative ideas, processes or procedures for enhancements, additions, modifications to improve existing processes or technology.
Serves as a highly-skilled resource for daily operations for any issues related to the electronic health record or associated technologies.
Implements Supports new technology, upgrades, and advanced informatics solutions, providing expert guidance and support to ensure seamless integration and optiomal end-user adoption.
Assists with training curriculum and teaches as applicable to promote increasing adoption of technology, efficient care flows and clinical practice utilizing best practice use of the electronic medical record and associated technologies.
Conducts complex systemic analysis reviews, participates in regulatory surveys, and ensures compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Develop key performance indicators and analyzes data around complex processes, procedures, and outcomes to see continuous improvement
Requires minimal support to lead, drive, and manage system projects in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Acts as a subject matter expert in clinical informatics and order sets; mentoring junior analysts and providing advanced technical support

Qualifications
+ Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate Degree, preferred. Masters Degree in Clinical Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Business; preferred.
+ Experience:
+ Minimum of six years of relevant clinical healthcare experience, required.
+ Minimum 2 years as a Clinical Informatics Analyst, Epic Application Analyst, Epic Training, Clinical Practice Specialist, or Clinical Leadership experience; required.
+ Oncology nursing and/or Emergency nursing experience strongly preferred.
+ Licensure/Certification: Healthcare Licensure required ( RN, LPN, RT, PT, or MLS (ASCP)(CM - Med Lab Scientist ASCP Certification etc.), required.
+ Additional Skills Required:
+ Ability to lead cross-functional meetings.
+ Prioritize multiple high-level responsibilities.

+ Demonstrates Proficiency in change readiness for the organization, being flexible as priorities change.

+ Collaborate with Clinical Informatics and Epic colleagues across the enterprise to drive strategic goals and vision for the organization.
+ Application support of advanced complexity for acute clinical applications for a large, multi-regional healthcare system.
+ Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
